graphic designer, partner
Jean-Baptiste
Taisne

A former student of the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, Paris, he graduated in 1997. He is an associate of c-album.
He was still a student when he joined Laurent Ungerer to found c-album and initiated numerous projects in the publishing field: in 1998 he was responsible for the graphic redesign of the famous Bescherelle and the graphic design of numerous catalogs for the BnF (Contes de fées, Presse à la une, L'Enfer...).

Today he follows complex projects, such as the Orleans museum, the botanical gardens of the city of Paris, the design of the signage charter of the Ratp buildings or the master plan of the signage of the Mont des Arts district in Brussels. A partner of the program "Des papous dans la tête" on France Culture, he designs their Anthology and their Dictionary (published by Gallimard). As a fan of L'OuLiPo, he participated in the conception of its exhibition in 2014 at the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal. With a good scientific culture, amateur astronomer and volunteer animator, he is particularly involved in science projects.

His taste for typography often leads him to design typefaces as for the Ecole Nationale des Chartes.
From 2001 to 2011 he teaches publishing at the book trade center of Saint-Cloud. Then from 2015 to 2019, he teaches at the École nationale supérieure de création industrielle.
