communication identity

For the creation of the ENSCI's visual identity, the work was largely based on the collaboration of a few student volunteers (including Karim Zaouai and Cyril Afsa): it seemed logical to us that the students should be involved in something that concerned them directly, hence a platform for creation both inside and outside the school. The logo itself is designed as a three-dimensional wireframe object that can be rotated around, so that it can be viewed from all angles. Of course, an ideal point is chosen to view it from, which allows us to sketch out the ‘flat’ vision that will be used for all the two-dimensional versions (letters, letterheads, posters, etc.). The choice of red is also significant: it recalls the red enamel of the building's number plate on rue Saint-Sabin (which used to distinguish the École from other Parisian buildings, and from the traditional blue of their numbers).
