For the reopening of the Jardin des Plantes greenhouses, we designed a series of panels outlining a number of different itineraries. Each panel has a specific cut-out reminiscent of a particular plant, enabling visitors to discover its evolution, its family and so on. To avoid losing the visitor, we wanted to avoid a "forest of panels" effect. The panels were therefore camouflaged as much as possible, with the cut-outs designed to blend in with the vegetation in a way that resembles camouflage: the information is there, but it never interferes with the discovery of the plants, the real stars of the site. The various panels are attached to an artificial "creeper", a long corrugated plate that outlines the tour route, half-hidden among the plants.
