A garden is a living, moving object that changes its face according to the weather and the seasons. The path of the sun, the passage of the clouds, the gusts of wind modify the perception. The design of a "fixed" signage had to match this dynamism, which is a mirror of life.

Our approach was to allow the visitor, amateur or specialist, to enter into a process of discovery at any time of the walk and in any season, the principle being to integrate the collections, the signage and the furniture into their environment. We did not want to limit the pathways to a defined trajectory but to offer several directions of circulation allowing the visitor to take his own path in complete freedom, by providing the necessary elements for his orientation, lighting and directional and educational information.
